Where Your Membership Money Goes:

$4.00 - National PTA Dues
$5.75 - Washington State PTA Dues
$1.50 - Bellevue PTA Council Fees
$11.25 - Total $ passed on per member

The big thing that the National, State, and Council fees pay for is Advocacy for our students in Olympia and Washington DC. The remainder of the membership money stays at Enatai and helps pay for the "business" of PTSA -- our website, insurance, and other necessary administrative items.

While a chunk of the money we receive for Membership Dues goes on to State, National, and Bellevue Council PTAs, the money we raise through our fundraising efforts stays here at Enatai for the benefit of our students and school community.

Enatai PTSA Website Account – www.enataiptsa.org

We hope that all families will create an account on our website. All you need to enter on our website to have an account is your name, email address, and a password – all additional information is only necessary if you’d like to include it in the Online Directory (e.g. You might include your mailing address if you would like to receive birthday party invitations from other families in your student’s class).

Adding your students to your website account allows you to purchase items for them (like Eaglewear and Fall Festival dinner tickets) and register them for events. It also ensures they show up when someone searches for their teacher to get a class list (this is how people find you to contact you for playdates and birthday parties). If you want to pre-purchase Carnival or Haunted House or other event tickets online (and often with a reduced price) definitely add your student to your account, and make sure their teacher is assigned.

Enatai PTSA Online Directory

The Online Directory includes everyone who has created an account on the website, regardless of whether or not they are paid PTSA members. For privacy, only paid PTSA members can search the Online Directory.  The more our families register on the website, the more complete this dataset will become.

The number one reason to join the PTSA is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more PTSA advantages:

  • Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.
  • Discover Great Resources. The PTSA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students.
  • Tap into a Network. PTSA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind.
  • Share. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.
  • Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTSA, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause—your child and all children in the community.
  • Speak Up. PTSA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.
  • Participate in Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTSAs play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs, and social events.
  • Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTSA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

Everyone—parents, educators, students and other citizens active in their schools and communities—is invited to join our not-for-profit parent teacher association.
